New Ranges
We're now displaying some beautiful new ranges of modern oak furniture at our shop in Warlingham, Surrey. The furniture is now on our online shop www.warlinghamfurniture.co.uk and is well worth seeing.
Environmental friendliness and quality are at the core of what we do, and I'll explain below how and why our new lines are even better than the last!
One
of our new lines in Warlingham Furniture is made from responsibly farmed European timbers. It's mainly
constructed of solid European birch, but also has solid oak tops and moulding features. The
bases of these pieces of furniture are painted to a sumptuous standard in all
kinds of modern pastel colours and finished off with lovely brushed nickel and
stainless steel handles. There is also the option to choose from different leg styles on this furniture, both turned legs and tapered legs are available, giving you the option to buy something modern looking which would fit perfectly with our modern oak furniture ranges, (http://warlinghamfurniture.co.uk/section_details.asp?Section=Warlingham_-_modern_oak_furniture§ion_id=49) or going for a more traditional look. The furniture range encompasses furniture types for the whole home. The other line of furniture which we are now displaying here is a fantastic range of responsibly farmed and carbon neutral oak furniture. TARZAN have a completely sustainable approach to furniture, with their special slant on Ecothics; in which they get their materials from local suppliers in South West England using oak from responsibly managed forests.
They use hand tools rather than heavy machinery to produce their furniture in order to minimise energy consumption and recycle 90% of their production waste. Not only that, but they also ship their furniture in recycled packaging and with couriers with environmental policies in line with their own. Therefore, their carbon footprint is completely mitigated through the Woodland Carbon scheme who they work with closely.
